hey, As the hot shot google has anounced his gmail and every one has seen the AFTER EFFECT yahoo went on 100 MB and and hotmail also on the run to improve his services. JUST AS Gmail if google started his web hosting services what do you think will be colour of the sky of Hosting world. i just wonder if they start free web hostings with there adsense add placed on it and the comission will goto to the free hosting user- WONT BE THAT A BIG BREAK- get a free hosting a earn from your free hosted site..... what do you think the hosting will look like. thanks.
Google always offers high quality services, just wonder if they would monitor the servers and the repercussion on SEO.
I think it would be great. Anytime a company offers a service and competes w/ other companies - it's better for all of us.

Google has zero customer service for most of their products. If they started hosting I'm sure it would be a failure.
They have the largest data centers in the world it would be a natural transition, however customer service would be required.
Why just only hosting??? In future, Google can starts selling pizza, car, bikes and even match boxes.
I think Google already has their hosting product...it's called Google Sites. It's not really that big/ground breaking. It comes as part of the Google Apps suite...I mean it's nice but it's mostly for static pages versus database driven sites. I doubt they'll ever move into that space, there's a lot of risk exposure, etc.
