You can use chitika and adsense on the same site/ blog, check out my blog. The other thing is that, it is not necessary that you must have traffic from USA / Canada, If you have traffic from European countries, you will earn. After some times your status get gold, and you will earn from all over the world. But in the begining, USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Poland, Netherlands is necessary to get your status high in chitika. I hope everybody will understand and the confusion regarding chitika traffic will remove from mind. A big example is my blog, anybody from anywhere in the world can see chitika ads on my blog.

So to achieve a good result you must following rules:
- get a niche site that is interesting to US and Canada people
-get your site optimized (SEO) so your visitors are mostly from search engines.
- analyze the keywords for which people are getting into your site.
- use those keywords and/or edit the articles or add new ones.

You have to remember that there are no full proof plan for earning from advertising. But chitika loves search engine traffic. Do the SEO nicely for your site.
