I guess that no follow links are something which is tracked by Yahoo, but ignored by Google. But in fact this is also not true as Google counts no follow links in Webmaster Tool, while many people also claims that after few months Google too give value to the no follow links.
NoFollow links are also counted by the Google. Google knows that Natural Link Building can't be with the DoFollow links only.
In terms of SEO according to Google they do not help in improving SERP, but they do help in getting direct traffic from that source.

Yea there is some value in no follow links just not as much as do follow but it'll look more natural to google as opposed to you having 100% do follow links

Do follow link give you benefit but No follow not gives you benefit with your website so whenever you work in Link building so first prefer Do-follow link.
