Hi All, I have a tech blog, where i upload all details of new gadgets. My blog ranks good for a particular brand/keyword. For others i am not getting much traffic. Whether I should promote my tech blog for that particular keyword or should i buy new domain with the keyword in it and start concentrating only on that keyword for the new domain? Thanks.
Purchasing domains for keywords and building them individually is not a great idea. As your niche is a technical one, do keyword research and write quality content on each of the niche keyword under your blog's parent niche and gradually as content increases so will the traffic. cheers Josh
depends on the keywords you are targeting.....are they in the same niche? If so then create unique pages to target individual keywords If they are unrelated buy a new domain
I would not recommend a domain necessarily either. I would do articles on the keywords and submit them to goarticles.com, linking back to your blog.
If your content is good, you can try to get some natural links from other tech sites by reaching out to them. That's the most effective way to get a real boost. Otherwise, I would recommend submitting to some blog communities, social bookmarking sites, and the like.
It's a better approach to bank on what you already have. I would that you continue what you're doing. Putting all your efforts into a few keywords is not really gonna do much. If you're doing affiliate marketing on your blog, you would want to diversify your sources of traffic. And by that, I mean, get traffic from all sort of relevant keywords. Cheers.
it is better to keep the blog well, don't need to buy a new domain, you must flippe your blog .it mean that you must manage your blog , and every day you posting new article or you can submit an article to directory. I hope you will get huge backlinks from article.
Don't concentrate on limited keywords. Rather look for more wisely which are related to your niche and then optimize it on-page and off-page.
Optimize your page and also know your targeted audience. Use tools like google analytics to know how audience landed on your page and optimized page that has high bounce rate.
Using the keyword research tool find more potential keywords to create pages about. Ensure your meta date and content are targeted to your keywords.
