If anyone would like to comment on the events unfolding in Syria, please do so. Here are a few of the protests we've had in the US.

    In California (LA):

In Washington D.C. - I think this was starting at the Syrian embassy, but then they went to the White House:

Seems you are really motivated to cause havoc in the middle east, first women in Saudi, now Syria, I wonder why? I think we know the answer to that question.

she wouldnt have to do the same if you folks were empathetic to the situation and have started a thread. look here in India we are having a movement against corruption and 3 threads started already (that relating to baba ramdev only, theres more on anna hazare).

you folks can overlook the plight of millions but you cant expect others to do the same too.

This should go without saying, but discussing, even supporting, is not the cause of women driving in Saudi or Syrian protests.

The turmoil in the Middle East more and more seems to be a revival of old time Islam coming to the forefront, I'm surprised you are not more enthusiastic for the outcome.

The Islamist perhaps feel threatened by the Democratic overtones that would threaten their autonomy.

I wonder why the Nato hasn't bomb them yet like the way they are doing to Libya, could it because they are much more powerful than Libya?

So why do we never hear nothing about the corruption in India on t.v? I tell you why, nobody has an interest in India.

As for Syria, they are obviously anti-Israel and their rulers must be replaced.

There's so much corruption, poverty and conflicts all over the world, but for some reason it's the countries that are anti-Israel that are under the spotlight or those with a lot of oil/gold.
For lovers of Israel there's an s an opportunity to make the Syrian regime fall, and the OP is playing her part.

Is it just me, or does IsraeI not seem to be a real big fan of the "Arab Spring". Cheer up man. I'm sure the people protesting the brutal and oppressive Syrian regime hate Israel every bit as much as the current leadership and yourself. That leaves you cheering on an oppressive regime for no reason. Don't you feel silly?

What channel should I watch? Because India's corruption is un-heard of in the West.

Aren't you anti-Syria at the moment? Practice what you preach.

tune in to Indian news channel. isnt that obvious.

India's corruption is more of a national news unlike Libya or Syria or Yemen which is more of an international news. If our govt goes on a killing spear like what we are witnessing in the said countries then ya India will too feature in international news.

why the hell i should be be anti Syria or anti any country as a matter of fact.

all this does not need to turn on each other, since the problem arose because of differing views. and Islam is not a religion that likes to make trouble. These need to be understanding to all. dissent may legitimate, but not by way of violence.
