Hello all,

I am looking for a catchy logo for my new business. "OUTDOOR HiFi (dot) com (dot) au".

As the name suggests, I provide and install Outdoor Audio/Video solutions - the main product being outdoor weatherproof tv's...

I am not much of an artist myself, but have toyed with a few (very rough) designs, as attached. I am open to anything, so don't feel obliged to copy what I have done - come up with something original. If you can manage to include a TV/speakers &/or outdoor themes such as the Sun/Trees/water droplets etc (without being a cluttered logo), that would be great. If you feel I am asking for too many features to be in the logo, don't include them - I am very open to ANY ideas on this one...

As long as people can look at the logo and realise what the business does - being supply and install of outdoor A/V gear...I will be happy.

the ".com.au" could even be used as small text written vertically at end of logo.

Pending submissions, may be looking for someone to design letterhead/website header as well - for which we can meet an agreeable amount $. For exceptional logo/s that were not chosen, but are very good - I am happy to negotiate a small fee for your time and great efforts!

Yes, as topic states, payment via paypal... I do not have Aletpay sorry.

Nora - Thanks for your entry. Can you put the .com.au after the 'hifi' vertically? Maybe reduce size of TV as well. Can you toy with droplets of water on screen, possibly add some 'green' to logo (either palm tree or font colour)...?

 

I made a few small changes. I added drops to the screen, but I didn't go for a palm tree because it would make the logo look messy.

I hope you don't mind me adding .com.au horizontally. It was unreadable vertically.

 

Hmmm I'm not digging' the TV to be honest.... Can you try with no TV, and put some water with a reflection under the 'outdoor'. Also change the size of Hifi to be slightly larger than the outdoor part?

 

D'oh. I didn't read the Payment via paypal part of the thread title and kept searching for it in the first post. Paypal is fine. I'll post my entry in a few days, I think.

Also - to all entering - feel free to use the 'O' in "Outdoor" to be the Sun - maybe with little 'ticks' coming off the letter "O" to simulate sun rays. And maybe use sunglasses on the Sun with a smiley face? As long as it doesn't look 'tacky'. I will go for a more professional look over anything else.

flaminbo - I like what you're trying to do, but I think the sun 'spikes' may be a little too big, and the 'HiFi' part needs to be slightly larger than the rest. The outer font colour needs to be darker to make it stand out clearer. I like the concept of 'outdoor audio solutions'. If we are going to try running with a caption, it must read 'outdoor television & audio specialists'

ideosmil - Nice effort. I like the colours you have used, but I think the 3D theme may not work as well as a more simplistic 2D type... Can you try integrate a semi-flat panel type them to the 'hifi' section?

bluhoster - thank-you for your entry. I like the sound coming from the sun, but overall it's not really what I'm after

Sniip3r - I like the concept of the 'sun'. It, and the spikes are a bit too big. Need some seperation (either with lowercase/uppercase/colours) between outdoor and hifi

logos4all - This concept is my fav so far... it's more in the direction towards what I was after. Love the concept of having the screen involved. This is what gives it away my business has something to do with the sale of televisions... Not convinced yet on fonts/colours yet, as it looks a little plain. I would prefer the HiFi to have uppercase like you have, but with a smaller hieght 'i' instead of same as the 'H' and 'F'.

SNiip3r 2nd entry - I prefer your other entry, this one not really the direction im after.
