Hey, My name's William Tha Great, here from Houston, Texas. Blogs are powerful tools for getting your word to new heights. Everyone has their own reasons for starting a blog. Some have thoughts to get off their chest. Others know many awesome tips the world should know. At the end of the day if your blogging then, your probably a writer. You may have even went as far as publishing a book. Whatever type of writer you are the main focus is attracting readership. To attract readership your writing must be above excellent. There must be continuous improvement to become a noticed writer. Questions: 1. How does one grow as a writer? 2. What's the best weapon you were talking about? If you consider yourself a writer than your strongest weapon is reading. By reading you will be able to open your mind up to new ideas, and perspectives. Your vocabulary will greatly increase, and will be percieved through your writing. The more you read and the better your writing will become naturally. Any true writer will tell you to read more than you write, because that's going to make you improve. It will be easier to come up with new ideas for your writing. You just have to give it time and stick your head in a book. Do you believe you read enough? What books have you been meaning to read? If you like what you read take a second to follow me on Twitter. I would love to connect with you further! God bless, William Veasley
One grows as a writer by writing more and more that enables one to fine tune his skilld Reading other blogs is as important as reading books.
bloggers not only reading but they're also commenting, giving opinion, and critics they're also build community by sharing the possible same experiences each other
Blogger should be an expert of his area, otherwise people won't read and share his posts. If you want to earn something from a blog, "viral" factor is very important as you must generate a decent traffic. Also blogger should write in fluent and easy to read manner. Schollars still read books, while simple people prefer online information for their studies and education.
Hi! I'm completely agree to you. Reading habit gives us a new way of thinkingand also improves our writing skills. According to me reading and writing is the best way to get mental peace.
Writing is part of blogging, but not necessarily a requirement. You can outsource writing & still run a successful blog. But yes it is true, the better your writing the more readership your blog generates. A blogger's best weapon however is 'what he writes about & most importantly the way he writes'. Regards, SJ
My blogs best weapon is it's Ninjas. They bring in trafic day after day. Ninjas are the latest thing in blogging better than any widget, I learnt about them in this really great seminar, they are guaranteed to increase your traffic particularly the green Ninjas.
Writing on a controversial topic with a strong position and posting it on facebook gets some responses. Also a blog without pictures or examples looks empty.
A greater writer has his own mind put on paper and the one who is not copycatting others ideas, views or other strategies. One can grow as a writer with a passion to create something that is extra ordinary to be read. Other than that, a good English movie can give you excellent vocabulary just in case you are not a book person like me.
becoming a good writer with the knowledge to add searchable and understandable terms in text is a better weapon. you could earn tons with it unlike just programming.
its not a must but it requires knowledge to whatever a blogger wants to write about. thus improving his writing skills along with his seo skills.
