Base on my profile, looking for suggestion

I tried to post the same message on official adsense forum but it seemed pretty dead there so I decide to post it here instead:

Here is a little profile of my status:

I have a website, about 40000 visitors a day and over 1 million a month in total. And I got about 4000 followers in my twitter and 4000 via feedburner.

I have been testing adsense and the income seems quite ok, but I have no idea about how much usually could a website make from about 1 million visitor a month.

Recently I have been thinking to try my best to increase the income. Is there any better way besides just placing adsense? Can I also use other programme like Viglink at the same time? Hows about the digital point?

I bet there are many experts here so I choose to ask for the suggestion here, thank you.

 

if you had over one million Uvs a month, there should be tons of advertising companies asking you for sponsored ads

 

from time to time yes but i m not sure what to do n my sites are not in english so not many services in the market are 4 me

 

if you have a million visitors to your website, you dont need to market your site, instead advertising companies would directly come to your home

 

so you are saying there are mostly only English advertising companies out there?

 

not a day but a month. it just showed about 45 thousands a day so it is abt a million a month. n i have over 1000 usd for adsense in a month. is it about average? ppl told me not to put all the eggs in one basket so i m thinking what else i could do. but if i accept other ads would it be a problem with the adsense etc. so thats why i ask here

 

i thought so, coz i searched the "adsense alternative" here. n i went to look at the "buy and sell" ad, it seems so?

 

i'm sure if your site is this popular, there will be tons of advertising companies coming to you, even the non english speaking ones. How else do non speaking countries advertise? Don't tell me they don't

 

you need to put the ads before you know the result. You can actually put other ads but you gotta confirm those ads will not confuse adsense ads and it shall be legal ads (mean not porn, gambling etc ads)

 

Your revenue is way to low, but again it really depends on your niche.

Forums and alike can be harder to monetize, but then again you can use emails for newsletters with targeted offers to your niche.

Donations / premium membership might also be an option depending on your content.
