Google having maximum numbers of internet visitor at present. Whey Google are loved by internet visitor more then other search engine.
Facebook is a big one, with tons of traffic, but social is not so targeted traffic, yet people are not in the buying mode there. Adwords/Google/Seo were and are the best source of traffic/conversions for me.

google's been top dog for a long time. it's stayed that way because they haven't made any major modifications to their interface. which is the main reason why they overcame yahoo and other search engines. they boiled it down to simplicity. yahoo was and still is filled with a bunch of random crap like news on their front page, while google continues to stay clean.
