Can't get my template to look like I want it.

    So the last three hours I have been editing this template I found on the internet. I am trying to get rid of the thumbnails, and excerpt and have my news posts show up directly as just the title and date(not required)...I have deleted everything to do with img and still not happening. Can anyone please help me? I'll give you a back link on my site or something.

    Kindly check your if there is home.php in the template files . If not then see if index.php is calling some function or including some file in it.
