Just saw that Google had made a small change to all the adsense ands out thiere. Instead of saying "Ads by Google" thy now say "AdChoices". According to them it will make no difference in the performance of the ads. I think it was made to let people easier understand how they could change the ads in the Ads Preferences Manager. Correct me if I'm wrong. Does anyone have any more info about this? Update: Thanks G30SPKI for sharing a link to the Google AdSense blog. http://adsense.blogspot.com/2011/03/new-in-ads-notice-label-and-icon.html
Oh, sorry then. I did a search but it came up empty, and I didn't see any when I looked in the google part of this forum.
No need to apologize, he is just promoting his forum. Here is the info from the horses mouth: AdChoices techbytes
I saw Adchoices now. No idea that Google put it out here. I'll Google it out to see what's it and how it affects the CTR and come with the conclusions.
Hope my earning will be increased after they change to "AdChoices". Currently, there's nothing has changed
I don't think we should expect any increase in earnings from that change. It is simply change from ads by google to adchoices, but still same ads are served.
AdChoices is a Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising. And already has been clarified by many official websites and network: http://choice.live.com/ http://money.cnn.com/services/advertise/adchoices.html http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/relevantads.html Just Google it and you will find a lot of sources. Google unfortunately didn't say anything yet but they have registered the adchoices.com domain name. Self-Regulatory Program website: http://www.aboutads.info/
Nothing change between ads by google and ad choices. Earlier ad choices used to give in USA. They must have giving same name to all the customers.
