I'm looking for a domains site that is not godaddy

Hi guys ,I'm looking for a domains site that is not godaddy domains, and if free would be better, so far the closest I found was namecheap, but can not find one for free .... know any?

I don't think you'll find a registrar for free because I believe there is a fee that gets charged by IANA for maintaining the DNS system.

 

lol.. well, you could use co.cc thats really as close to a free domain as your gonna get..

I would really suggest getting a .com domain for $10 bux a year though..
plus.. godaddy does run the 99cent .info sales from time to time..

well if you dont want to buy from godaddy then there are still many options available. try namecheap, bigrock, unlimitedgb.

I think the domain. com should be cheaper. co.cc domain is not well.

If you are building the sites with an eye toward flipping them after they are showing good, steady income (which is highly recommended) then do not use any domain registrar other than godaddy or namecheap, because your buyer will not want to have to deal with an unfamiliar domain company.

 

Truth is that you can't get common TLD domains for free no matter which registrar you use. some registrars can however give them free with hosting or other packages, but you have to pay afterall.

Go daddy have a $5 dollar auction for domains that will drop soon.

If you cant afford $5 matbe you should be doing something else instead.
