Three cool names: pornoogle.tv (as in "porno + ogle"), lesboogle.tv ("lesbo + ogle") and softoogle.com ("software to ogle"). Any comments?
Why? What is it you don't like in the names? They are easy to remember, kinda funny & absolutely brandable. Photoogle.com is being sold for 50.000, as a matter of fact. I'm not saying it's worth 50k but it's obviously worth more than the reg fee.
Some woman lost a court battle against Google to keep names very similar to those, her braindead idea was 'go ogle' e.g. googleboats.com etc... not sure your idea will fair any better, so good luck trying to sell those domains!
Yep, the name "googleboats" sucks because it contains the Google trademark in its entirety (the entire word "google"). But Google does not own the "oogle" trademark. They lost the case against Froogles.com in 2005 (the site is alive and kicking). And that's why pornoogle.com has been online for a few years now. So softoogle, pornoogle & lesboogle are absolutely legitimate names. BTW, there is also technoogle.com which has been online for over a year now, and they don't seem to be having any problems with the Google trademark.
Speaking of oogles, there is also doctoroogle.com, a website created by something yclept Dr.Oogle which is "a registered dental referral service in the State of California". Registered in 2004.
Well, pornoogle.com & .org are registered by someone else. I only own pornoogle.tv & .net. But right now I don't feel like parting with either of them for less than $300. Would sell both for $500.
