This question is nonsense. If you want to create a splog, make a script which spits out thousands of articles, otherwise just produce quality articles and it doesnt matter if it's 1 per day of 1 per week. Just write when you feel to.
you can't believe what? again your question is stupid and you still haven't answered my question. How does my stats help you when different sites behave differently and earn different amount?
I think a better question would be "How many posts do you write and how much do you earn from your efforts?" I am not one of the big shots, nor do I write nearly enough, as I have close to 200 websites. Here is one example of what my experience is. I have a blog/information site that I started in January 2009. I pretty much write when I feel like it. Unique content (subject specific). As of right now I have 88 posts on that particular website. Adsense earnings are about $100 - $125 a month. $45 average from Adbrite per month. Another $50-$100 a month in share-a-sale commissions. My peak month was 12,600ish unique visitors to this particular website, but can dip as low as the mid 8,000 uv from time to time, depending on the season. I hope this helps answer any questions. I am sure others experiences are different than mine. It would interesting if people answered my question rather than the original. I am kind of curious myself about others experiences.
Every body here saying right. It doesn't matter how many you write. It matters , how many people are visiting that articles and you are earning for that are not. After writing , you need to optimize that link with google do that you can earn good for every post.
No. of post is not important as your SEO is important. Focus on optimization first and then if you are writing 1-3 posts/day..thats enough...
I disagree...Google loves to see websites updated frequently, the more you update the more Google crawls you for new information such as your tags and other features that will help your SEO. Content is one of the most important things about the website, I do agree with Bahria90 whenever he does say it is important because it is the main way to improve your rank in the SERPS. Although you need to do both whenever a website is new I would put content over SEO. This is because if you try SEO services when your site is new it could easily be marked as spam by Google.
I can imagine the content quality of these people writing 5+ posts per day... MTG Ok, but if you don't advertise your site, you'll hardly get many visitors.
I had the same question in mind.. Is there a lower limit or something? Below which the site will loose its position in the search engines?
