There is a big difference between misspelling a word due to typing too fast and using phrases like "how r u?" There is a problem with kids today using slang like that (on resumes, even) but that's not what we're dealing with here.
I love how almost every post you've made in this thread contains a grammatical error I hope you're doing that on purpose.
It's a personal blog, why does it need to be professional? It's the content that makes his blog so popular. I think everyone would prefer that he continue with a large amount of posts with the occasional misspelling instead of cutting down on his posts but making sure every single one was a brilliantly crafted use of the English language
The title of this thread gave me a good laugh. A guy on a blog misspells a couple words and there is a 2+ page thread talking about it. Seems that his misspelling a couple words has given him even more publicity. I'll go create some grammar errors on my sales page if you guys promise to point it out and post about it everywhere you can.
ehh, 3 things 1. If it makes money, who cares 2. If it brings alot of traffic who cares 3. If it converts well, who cares Where would snoop doggy dog be without his blatent mispelling of the word "shit" that became "shiznit"
Check your grammar. It is really unprofessional for you to utilize the subject of your sentence ("blog") so many times. The correct manner is to hyphenate these two words. "Spell-checking." It is really unprofessional for you to post that incorrectly. The grammatically correct wording of this sentence would utilize a semi-colon and commas to show the hesitations around the word, "say." "There is nothing worse than having someone; say, from a big publishing company or media, trying to potentially feature your article and find it full of grammatical errors." Even then, the sentence is jumbled and doesn't read "cleanly." You should work on that. It is very unprofessional for you to post that incorrectly. What point? Whose point? Her point? Your point? Their point? We may know whose point it is had you not neglected to include a qualifier for your sentence subject, the "point." Additionally, the incorrect comma placement in the sentence renders confusion. My seven year old niece has better grammar skills than you and you think that you have the right to criticize someone else. Spell-check and grammar-check in Word doesn't work as well as you may hope. Moron.
Who is this shoemoney guy anyway? I feel like this is a schoolyard (i hope that is one word and not two) and everyone is beating up this Guru fella. You should all learn a lesson from this...get your too (sp?) cents in before the moderators shut down a mob mentality thread FYI: This put a much needed smile on my face and was a great break from my crazy day.
