If I give you $1k, what will you invest it in?

    $1000? The banks will give you a term deposit but you'd struggle to make a business investment for that much. The legal fees to draw up a partnership contract would cost more.

    As a Foreign US citizen, I would invest it in creating a US bank account. Well with Everbank you'll need an extra $500 to start.

    I would invest in a website, roughly $500 on a well coded site and $500 on advertising
