I can't seem to find related site links because the only related sites i can find are compeditors. Can anyone please give some advice on how i go about doing this? My website is www.fcbs.co.uk
I think sometimes you have to think outside the box. For instance, my site is a photo hosting service for newspaper classifieds. My links page includes all photography type sites (photo restoration, photographers, photography, photo gifts, etc.) and online classified sites. These sites are related, but not competitors of mine.
I find it hard to believe that your niche is so narrow that you cannot find other sites that share your site's interests. How about bloggers? No one blogging about your subject? Take a look at technorati.com - I bet you there are plenty there.
Thanks everone. Where do i find these blog sites. Do i just do a search in google for 'blog photocopiers' ?
Here is my suggestion .. First sort out what are you major keywords then find out competitor webpages for these keywords and then check their backlinks one by one and explore any opportunity of getting backlinks. my backlinkwatch tool will help you Sometime this strategy works more good than expectations.
Receive links is free or it needs $$ to register.. im new to that site.. when i checked the url u posted it asking for registration.. Particularly my email id and other details to get in.. Details plz...
Does receivelinks.com provide you on-topic links for your site or just any links? can you review the links before they are added or is it automated?
It is free. They have pay versions with more features, but just do the free one to see how you like it.
Either and you can reject links that you don't like. When you add your site you can say "only link to sites in my category" and likewise when you get "Ads" (Ads are the way you get backlinks to your site) you can say "only links to my ad that are from sites in my category". Hope this helps!
I just undertook a quality linking campaign several months ago (which really proved successful) & recommend you do the following ... 1) RESEARCH other competitors and related websites that do what you do & compare their links pages, their link categories for example. Do not simply add links to Wikipedia. E-mail other webmasters that have websites relating to .... "new and refurbished office products such as photocopiers, printers, fax machines, scanners, multifunctional systems, presentation equipment, computers, document solutions, networks and consumables" !!! etc.. The send them a professional e-mail asking to exchange links, with a clear benefit statement. Google search examples of letters you can use to send & them.... many will not want to link, some will. You gotta keep trying. I must have sent out 1000+ e-mails, personally to potential reciprocal link partners and as you will see in my links pages ... few have linked. Good luck.
It is not to much effective way to get links... To much time and to less links Better is find relevant sites on forums and ask their Wms about link exchange
