I have a flash games website, about 300-500 unique visitors a day, using AdSense now, but with terrible results, they pay about 1-2 cent per click max. Do you have any idea how to better monetize my website ? AdSense is sucks, not good for that kind of websites I think, I have a little comparsion because I have several WP blogs with games news and Googla pays 3 - 4 times more , it seems they pay more if you have more txt content on your website.
I would say, you should add more contents on a regular basis. Also, do some social marketing. As yours is a games related website, more users will be attracted from social networks. Untill then, you should use adsense. Once you have reached a good position go for something like banner advertising.
The problem is not the amount of traffic, because I can increase them in many ways, the problem is cost per click 0,01$ per click is too low and I though it was maybe something wrong with my content, don`t know, but I see many similiar websites in the net with AdSense, so I just trying to figure out why Google pays me so low. From WP blogs with similiar traffic I earn on AdSensecouple of times more than from this one website with flash games, so I just trying to understand why this happening and if increase a traffic on that website hase any sense. Don`t want to bring thousands of visitors daily and earn on it 10-15 $ only, because the traffic will killing my VPS, I am wondering how to earn more on adsense with that amount of traffic I have currently.
Plastic AdSense ads all around the site. You can earn about 1 penny for every 3 clicks so that's not too bad.
definitely, try to add more content on your site to get more traffic as well as clicks from visitors.
try Mochi ads in your games. and use adsense image ads and try to put them in tight places on your site.
CPA - doesn`t work unfortunately ,I`ve tested them already, the problem is kids has no credit cards , so they are not able to buy anything. Bring more traffic is not a solution for me. I have a comparsion of two websites, one based on Wordpress script, the second one is a flash games website on "arcadem pro" script, on Wordpress site I see clicks 0,2 - 0,5$ each, on Arcadem pro 0,01 - 0,02$ per click max . If anyone of you expirienced something like that ? The amount of traffic is similiar on both websites but earnings per click are completely different, just have no idea why.
300-500 UVs are great. Don't let them go without giving their email addresses. Offer something 'valuable' FREE on your blog, you will be building your list along the way.
You can try some banner ad selling networks like BuySellAds for making additional revenue from your website
Yes, I use Adsense for my financial websites, and it shows great results. But don't think that Adsense is the best choice for other niches. I've seen many websites that had terrible cost click (about 3-6 cents). So, sometimes it's better to try another ways (for example, Chitika - I think it's PPC rated #2 after Adsense).
Indeed, it comes down to your niche. As with all modes of research, look at your middle tier competitors. If you look at the quick and dirty sites, you'll just see everyday Adsense, if you aim too high, you'll find providers with excessive traffic requirements. Go the middle and look at how they're monetized. Check the source for banner and text provider URLs etc. In addition, go after those with some age behind them - use things like waybackmachine and so on to get a feel for how sites have evolved. Finally, there are tools out there that will trawl a niche (ie crawl top 100 results) for given search term, and give rankings on provider usage. Hope that helps..
You could try CPA offers, and see if the revenue improves, you could join CJ or Sharesale, those are some of the good ones
I know CPA is the one of the best ways of earning online, I have couple of websites earning that way and results are amazing, much better than AdSense.
Adsense is poor for flash games categories because they get a lot of younger advertisers who pay less in advertising costs to adwords. This makes Adsense hard to use. I would recommend getting a whole lot more traffic and then working on a site like BuySellAds and getting approved on there. That would be a better approach to take.
