It's hard to start a hosting company for scratch your better off buying a small hosting company, because you will waste your money having someone doing promotion, unless you got thousands to spend on good keywords you won't get in the top of the listings, the big companies will outbid you all the time, I've managed to do pretty good starting up but the first several months will make you want to quit. If you need some help I'll help you you can private message me in some ways and things to change, because your pricing you aren't going to get anywhere, penny hosting will never profit, just because large companies are charging $5-8 unlimited everything they have 100k customers paying that so they can profit, you need to up your prices by at least 4-6x more, and up the bandwidth/space, Hardly any sites now days will use only 5gb, my simple forum uses 50-100GB a month for example.
