I'm an seo and am doing google map listing for many clients. Could anybody throw some light on how should I do map listing for a client who wants to target the entire world as the target audience?

 

Maps are for a local business. If it is a online website with no physical retail location setup then maps would not be appropriate.

For the reaching out to a worldwide audience you will need to stick to social media, SEO, link building etc. With Google Maps the only addresses that should be added are places where someone can physically go to. If they say opened another physical store somewhere else they could then add that to Google Maps for antoher physical location. But there needs to be as some people put it a "brink and mortar" location to use Google Maps.

You should do Google maps if there is a physical location. It will do nothing for a worldwide audience only for people in the area to find it geographically.
