    well its about time there was a PR update, but coming from matt i think the 'coming soon' can be days, weeks, months if not years. But glad to know a PR update is around the corner, lets hope i get a positive update!

    Lots of these threads so I guess one day someone will predict it right. The last thread ( http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2184737 ) I glanced at last week said it wold be Memorial weekend as predicted by one of the ( many ) "in the know" page rank update websites....

    Tomorrow then I guess , or maybe not...

    Same opinion here, they always like to make it sound easy like the beginning of January or the end of October etc. I suspect it can take place during the first week of June

    In two occasions when Matt Cutts said there are a impending PR update, it did happen within days.

    You know, whenever there is a thread on PR, we get sanctimonious comments like this. PR is important to many people for reasons other than SERPS. We don't need lectures like this, please just let us get on with our work.

    Why do you guys even care for PR? Matt himself mentioned that it's nothing but one of the 200 ranking factors.
    It doesn't even have priority over other factors.
