Hello – I own a vacation rental in Carlsbad, CA. I would like a cartoon map of the downtown area illustrating shops, restaurants, bars and of course the ocean. It is still open - not a lot of replies as you can see. My intent is to make the distance from my house be reflected as CLOSE to the restaurants/bars/shops and ocean !! GO FOR IT!!!
Here is my work so far: I know it's not finished yet, I just wanna know am I in the right way of doing your request or not, I mean do you want all detail to be included in the cartoon map or just the important point? This is what I was looking for with the following feedback. 1. Make the streets bigger and or shops smaller - having only 2 shops on a whole block isnt accurate 2. Make my house a tad bit smaller and make it red with white trim 3. For the ocean/beaches add some people / surfers/ etc. Good start! I look forward to seeing the next go-round
And here is the progress: it's seems I need to add some people on the beach, I'll do it soon. By the way, is it this small for the building? And I already change the colour of the house into red and white trim.
Its good - Can you somehow make my house look closer to all the shops and the beach? Everything doesnt have to be in exact proporations the way you have it - thats the whole reason I am doing this map - to make it seem closer
