    now please don't get frustrated with me... How to search threads ? I mean I used the right corner search box with key word text add vs image add..but nothing was useful.. any way thanks a ton

    use everything, don't restrict the ads and then don't think anymore about them, focus on producing your content.

    It depends on your ad placements, site design and visitor demographics.
    Choose text and image ads. Adsense will optimize your ads after receiving a few clicks.

    In my opinion personally, plain text ads that are displayed anywhere besides Google itself are generally skipped over to easily, as people are generally trying to read specific content and not advertising. where as a good image ad can immediately capture attention.

    To be very frank either i don't use DP search, Google is the best search engine i Just searched that phrase "text ads vs images ads digitalpoint"

    In my experience text ads seem to pay better. I like to use both to mix it up though.

    I generally limit my ads to text ads, but I do have a few spots that an image ad preforms better.

    you should use both text and image ad you will get better ecpm this way and your earning will be become better too.
