A lot of people make good money through Amazon, but it's worth noting that it took them a while to start seeing any decent payments. If you are serious about earning any decent cheque, I would suggest you put in the time and effort. The reward is always big later down the months and years. Good luck
My Amazon income is spotty. I've made about $100 over a period of several months. But it's starting to get better. I have started promoting my few niche sites now more heavily and hope to see more traffic coming through them. So I only hope to see continued improvement over time. Stick with it and you'll start to see the results come in. Steve Eason Jake Media Online
That's not a dumb question at all, many people ask that question. Truth is, the conversion rate make up for the small comission. You can get more than twice the conversion than a clickbank product; and people really does not give a second thought when purchasing from Amazon. You don't even have to pre-sell, they are sold already! I only earn 3 digits every month, but I have not been building much Amazon sites. I will concentrate on building my Amazon empire after this, so I hope it will shot up
If some of you are failing with Amazon then I guarantee that you have a flaw......Do you have a strategy/system that you follow every day? If the answer is no, then that is your first hurdle. I can imagine some of you guys sitting on the PC for hours but not actually getting anything done right? You just go from one forum to another, from website to website and just never actually get stuff ticked off on your daily checklist. Without a proven solid strategy that works and you follow each day with 110% focus, your not going to make it. First mission = Get a strategy.
It's not much use telling people to get a strategy because they obviously would if they were able to. BTW You can only focus 100%.
Most people do not even realise that at a fundamental level you need a daily plan on how to perform IM tasks every day to reach your goals.
what exactly the best technique in Amazon, I have 4,200 clicks in my stats but my earnings is just 1dollar.
Did anyone else experience a sharp drop after the google content farm change in February? I was making $1000-1200 a month, now I'm down to about $500.
I made about $2000, then they suspended my account. What's worse, they said I can re-apply for their program. I now switch to different affiliate program with more earning and no risk of getting suspended.
that's sad.. did they mention the reason of your suspension? would you mind sharing it to us so we won't be suspended..
I started with Amazon about 3 months ago. It seemed like a good place for a beginner because of the trust factor. I made $50 the first month, $130 second month, and $150 so far this month. Most of that is from my first site I put up. My second site has much stiffer competition, so it is a work-in-progress.
I am obviously an advocate of Amazon and can tell you that once you build momentum, your earnings will keep increasing. There are positives/negatives to every merchant program, but above all i recommend that you stick with one and build up your earnings with them. You will increase your knowledge, the best way to promote them.. if you try several different merchants you will split your focus and not get the same results.
+1 I've started getting success with amazon in the last 6 months or so. One thing I've learned is Amazon will convert better than any other merchant, just that commissions will be low per product. But that can be countered by high volume of sales which are easier in Amazon compared to other programs
