Best Premium Themes

Can anyone from their experience tell me what the best premium themes are? So far I have Socrates, elegant themes and studio press. Any other better than these, I particularly like socrates because it is easy and quick to set up, still learning on the other two.

    Thanks

I do not think, there is anything to learn with Elegant themes or Studio Press.

Well, You Can Try ThemeForest (Recommended only for business/corporate sites). You can not find the quality of socrates, ET or SP there.

I guess it depends what kind of a premium theme are you looking for? Magazine style, eCommerce, framework, etc? That'd probably help with suggestions ;)

    Thanks for the replies.

I got the hang of studio press, what I was truggling with was the images on post but I found the answers and now I think on looks it is better than socrates. I made the forex site on my sig, check it out and let me know if it looks ok, i think I need to tweak a few things but I am learning. Elegant thmes I am still tsruggling with but I will learn.

I like fthemes.com. All of the themes are free with footer links and you can try it out that way and buy it without the footer links if you like it. They are only $19 each and most are the magazine/news style. The site seems to be down right now for some reason though...

I haven't tried any premium theme but I think thesis would be a good option as many bloggers around the world are using it.

Thesis is a great theme but for true customization you have to be willing to learn both the hook system that they use (though there are a couple of plugins that make this 100x simpler) as well as know/learn some standard html. The more you know the easier it is to customize. I really feel that a lot of this system was designed for people with a lot of html/css knowledge to create a better self customized Wordpress theme without having to learn Wordpress coding.

Elegant Themes. I also use Theme Junkie. Have also used Studio Press. Thesis is also good but I have a problem with their per site license etc. which might not be great for a developer.

Yeah! Right. Its an excellent frame work not a fancy theme. But if a person is willing to pay for a premium theme then he must be able to pay for a designer to design thesis. Well there are some free thesis skins available on the web, some are quite attracting.

it does not necessarily mean that the person is willing to pay for a designer. the learning curve for thesis is quite steep. I am using Thesis and it took me a month to give it the current look. I think Elegant themes and themeforest/themejunkie are good options. if the OP want to see the power of Thesis customization, then he can have a look at my signature link.

    Thanks.

I have two woo themes right now but I still need to learn how to use them. I am now using studio press mostly sicne i finally learned all the customization. Woo themes are great but once I activated one it just gave me a post with all the comments as the homepage, learning curve I guess.
