    If you have good SEO skills, YES 100% you get many members on your forum. So for example you wanted to look for how to fix your car and you type in what is wrong with you car on Google, a result might take you to a forum that has another user that has the same problem as you but if you read the replies, there are answers. My answer is YES... it does give you members because once that user is attracted to your forum, he/she will join.
