Unverified paypal limit 500$

Hey guys,

I heard that unverified paypal accounts have 100$ sending limit. But my unverified account got 500$ sending limit and i have not verified it yet. I opened another unverified paypal account and its limit was 100$. Why did that paypal account had 500$ limit.



Please tell me why is this??

You are from India (I think) like me. My account still showing "Sending Limit is: $100.00 USD"

 

Yea , just add a credit card and the limit will go up to 10,000 sending

 

yep... i am from India... but still one month left for me to get a Credit Card and i need another account with 500$ limit...and dont know how to get that. Unless i know how it happens. I wont be able to open a unverified account.

 

Maybe its limit was increased due to your paypal buyer/seller rating.

 

May be. But I don't think it could be. Because I have 40 paypal buyer/seller ratings. And still my sending Limit is: $100.00 USD

You may have not selected correct country. Check it.

 

No, I don't think so. It belongs to how do you verify with paypal. For example, when you add a credit card. Your limit will increase. And when you add an bank account, you lift the limit

 

I didnt add a back account or a credit card... i just opened a account and the limit was 500$ .... now i tried many other methods like giving country as India and US both and opening accounts with yahoo.com and yahoo.co.in domains...but all kinds of account have 100$ limit... only this particular one has 500$ ... i dont know why

 

It may also be that the accounts are registered as being from different countries

 

You are aware that you can not have 2 regular accounts right?

 

we can have any number of paypal accounts.i hade many un-vefired accounts before i vefired my account.

 

No. You can have only one personal and one Premier/Business account. Avoid opening too much accounts. It's against PayPal's TOS. PayPal may suspend your all account.

I think you can only have 1 premier/business and 1 personal account. More than that is not allowed as per paypal TOS.

 

Hmmmm.... i m 3 months away from being 18.... still i think i hae broken paypal TOS then...

How will you be able to get Credit Card in one month. You have to show proof of your age before applying for a Credit Card.

I've just turned 18... I was using Paypal back then when I'm just 17. If Paypal ever find out will they suspend my acct? Chee... I'm 18 now.
