Do not consider Alexa for traffic /hits etc but yes for my website www.outsourcemyproject.com Alexa rank is 13,148,456
alexa ranks don't mean anything... there are tons of other factors you should consider: http://www.sitetrail.com/analysis/
Alexa Traffic Rank of a given website is not determined solely by the traffic to that site, but takes into account the traffic to all sites and ranks sites relative to each other
Alexa Rank working on the base of the traffic to your site. If traffic increase to your site then alexa rank will be decrease otherwise increase it. It is an indicator to show the traffic level of your site.
Keep building and adding to your website, content and continual improvements back-linking. Also having visitors with the Alexa toolbar installed is very effective I think. Anyone disagree? Does having more visitors to your website with the toolbar installed improve Alexa ranking at all?
I disagree. They are not pin point accurate, of course, however they are pretty close. It is one of the tool I use before buying a domain, because it shows another point of view on the domain other than data collected from the domain seller's server which can be manipulated fairly easily. They changed their algorithm a while back and it has become more reliable. For example, the Alexa toolbar holds a lot less weight in the calculation now. Though to the poster, focus on quality content first and foremost. Ranks on other sites are guides to show site quality. Without quality content, you have nothing.
Yes, but not as much as it used to. I have tried using widgets to increase accuracy, it seems they do not track via widgets... though they should.
