I have been doing most of the promotion for my directories to increase PR to my main page. I was wondering if anyone has good ways of increasing the inner pages since most directories will not allow me to submit http://moiz.info/Entertainment/ for example. I have only been submitting my main page moiz.info due to most directories not allowing any link but the direct one. Hopefully this all makes sense to you guys not sure if I am using the correct terms or not. I know that would increase alot of the submission and value if I had around the same pagerank that I have now on the main page on the others.
The best way to pass pr to the inner pages, is just to make sure that there is a link from the home page to inner pages. If you have tons of categories then of course this may be a little hard to do. This is were the sitemap comes in, but is only strongly affective if you link to the site map from the homepage. As long as you do that then things should go pretty well. If you are looking to submit your deeper pages then I recommend that you check out this site Deep Link Directory a strong directory which can provide your site with good backlinks from yahoo, msn and even google. You should also have a look at the directory in my sig, deep links are allowed but it is not free.
if you want high quality deep links fast, you could submit to high quality paid dirs such as alive directory which I believe allows deep links
If you have high PR, you get higher paid links ads in your site. For example, I have several PR 5 sites which can let me sell links for around 20$ per month or more depending on the traffic and type of my sites.
Submit the url to the directories which allow 'deep link' submissions. Also build quality backlinks for the inner page.
Almost all paid directories allow deep linking. Basically when you pay for a link on a directory or other you normally can make it deep.
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. I believe that if your site has good trust rank the pr flows well (of course inner linking structure is needed). If you find that your pr sticks to your home page, its that you do not have enough authority links coming at you, if at all.
PR distribution from the home page throughout the category structure is affected by the internal link structure. I made a few custom modifications to Strongest Brands to ensure that PR will flow to the main category pages. It's too early to see it yet, but you will in time.
