    Of course it is useful. But not advisable. If you try to do all your links from relevant sites then your site's reputation will increase as well you can get the actual traffic.

    Comments on relevent blog always help to increasinge ranking.If blog is not relevent it also helps but in low quality it is better to post comments on relevant blogs.

    Basically any kind of backlink is valuable i think but if you can get those that are related to your niche and higher pr and do follow then that is even better. Even no follow are still good they may not help in pr but they usually have a lot of traffic.

    It will actually depend on how informative and reliable your comments are, because once you participate you are already building reputation and at the same time drive traffic to your site. It's totally useless, if you just want to spam the site with unhelpful comments.

    Blog commenting are good, but do only in some good quality blogs. This is one of the easy way to get backlinks to your website. If you planing to do blog commenting for your "Online Shopping" site, then first search for some articles which is related to your keywords. Then you came across to different articles talking about this, you can select from the results. And can do the blog commenting on these blogs.

    we can find only traffic generation valuation by blog commenting, you get link in blog comment that not play major roll in ranking because it may be do follow or no follow.
