Does it possible to add no follow tag in robots.txt

Hi,

I have some external links on my site i would like to use no follow tag on them but i need some simple way to use instead giving no follow on each links.please share your thought

You can't add nofollow to robots.txt
Use a plugin if it's a wp or similar cms

Yeah that's right. you can not no follow in robots.txt.. But you can add it in meta tag. Like < meta name="Robot" Content="nofollow"> Thanks

It will crawl but not follow any links on the page including the internal links. So, you can't use it unless all of the external links are at the same page like "links" or "friends" page.
You have only 2 options:
1- Add nofollow to all of the external links
2- Find a plugin to automate that work.

You can use nofollow tag at specific links or for a page robots tag.You can't use nofolow tag in robots.txt
