Ok, so Google banned one of my domains. I'm pretty sure it was by accident. By that I mean I'm guessing it incorrectly got identified as having spam-like traits by an algorithm, and it wasn't something someone manually decided to do. I put in a reinclusion request a couple of weeks ago. I was wondering, does anyone have any info on the time frame on getting re-included? Or noticed anything about the process involved? For instance, to do the reinclusion request, I had to add the domain to the webmaster console. When I did that, I had to verify the domain (I chose uploading an html file). Thing is, when I logged in today, for some reason I had to re-verify it... it's been fine for the past 2 weeks, and it's the only domain on there, out of 8, that needed to be re-verified, both the www and one of the subdomain versions. I wasn't sure if this meant maybe someone had looked at it and changed something in the record or not, wondered if perhaps anyone else noticed anything similar. Also, has anyone who has gone through this process gotten any actual correspondence about it? Or, was the domain just suddenly unbanned one day? Thanks. -Michael
Greetings! I had a similar situation, so you're not alone. I recently had a domain name submitted for the reinclusion and it took a few weeks to process. Hang in there and keep working on content and backlinks! Good luck!
Hi It would be a good idea to send an email to google support also. We have never had any response from them but sometimes it helped
u can't say exactly how much time it will take to reconsider ur request coz googl e won't care if we are losing traffic and money due to tht
still works, but for some reason I don't think it's monitored by humans much. Up until a few days ago I was still showing query stats in the Google Sitemaps section, and I'm still show PageRank distribution, so I know the site isn't purged from the database... just not showing at all in either a site: or info: search, for either the main or sub domains. As of yet, no word from Google. Has anyone ever gotten, or know of someone who has gotten, a human or automated response as the result of a reinclusion request? -Michael
Well, it only took me about two days to get my site reincluded. All the details at http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/006534.html
I get my site reincluded the same day. Google sent me a mail, and immediately i put in the reinclusion request. I think it's strange..
i put in a reinclusion request a three weeks ago then once again but my site still banned=( i also try to send email and get a standart robot answer...
Rusty, thank you. I never got the first message, I just assumed it was a banning, since the whole site, including the subdomain, were both gone in a day, even though the 2 are not related or linked together. I have only ever gotten this message: never got the one about a violation. Hm... ok, weird. Now what should I do? It's the Random SEO site and the parent www one. -Michael
My site was banned in early October. The only reason I can think was cross linking between my own sites. I removed them all and sent a reinclusion request on Oct 10. How long I may have to wait? Is it a good idea to send a second reinclusion request. If yes, then when should that be?
The time period is unknown, and vary from site to site depending on several factors which are also un-known.
