    Do you think it is a good idea to add the W3C validation icon to your webpages if they pass validation?

    sure why not, I know I do :)

    to me it shows how much effort and pride a webmaster takes into ensuring the integrity of his/her websites.

    well its upto you? NORMAL users doesnt care much about w3c validations.. its more for webmasters

    It's for a directory, so most of the traffic will come from webmasters.
