He picked a fight against a bigger dog, he died. Not exactly a surprise. Looking at pics of his mutilated corpse might make some satisfied, others mad, but bottom line with or without pics of it, he won't be around to pursue his vendetta against the west.

That's a good thing. Sure, al qaida is a decentralized group, but their aura of invincibility died with OBL. That argument's history. Despite the help of the most committed religious zealots on the planet, their world champion hide-n-go-seek player lost. Bullet through the head. Game over. Their super-boy is now fish food.

Sure, killing him pissed off al Qaida. Big deal, they already hated the west. The good news... Pakistan must explain how the most wanted man on the planet hid in an ostentatious compound within gunshot distance of their military academy. Major black eye for their supposed cooperation in the fight against terrorists. Now they either have to prove themselves or admit they really don't care to side against Al Qaida.

Based on news coming from that quarter it's clear a large number of their citizens already side with al Qaida. Now the government will be forced to stick a dime in the phone or get out of the booth. Frankly their actions in this situation are inconsistent with their declared affiliations, and if they fail to find a way to gloss over that, they stand in peril of seeing the west collectively turn off the money tit the paki government's been milking.

Long story short, the government of Pakistan cant stay on the fence now
They're under pressure to perform. That's a good thing, cause given the number of major terrorist figures that've been found hiding under their noses, they deserve the heat. They're either crooked or really stupid. [Most likely, a bit of both.]

 

Actually the Americans started by middling and setting up military bases in his backyard, he got piss, the rest is history as they say. Also he was old and brittle with many health issue's and could at any time died. I think Ben Layden did a lot of harm 100000x more than what the Americans did to him, if you think about it.

It is the modern David vs. Goliath if any one cared to look into the stats, Ben won even though he lost his life and what it seem he's legacy continues.
