My first $2,000+ adsense day

I can't believe I'm actually seeing this, but as of 7:22 PM PST, I have earned over $2,000 today using Adsense. My previous record was $1,700.

The best thing is that I don't do any marketing for my sites so the revenue is pretty much pure profit. My only cost is hosting.

Sometimes I see people post about how they made hundreds or even thousands in a day, but what they don't tell you is that they spent a ton of money on Adwords to get the traffic.

Ok, so why am I telling you guys about this? Because I think if I can do it, you guys can do it as well. I quit my job a little over a year ago. I was making $45,000 a year at that full time job. This month alone, I will make over $30,000.

The key to making lots of money with adsense is of course traffic. Focus on creating really good content or services that people find useful and tell their friends about. When I first started my site, I was hoping to make $300 per month for travelling money and now I'm making more money than I ever dreamed about. It's really insane.

Anyways, just wanted to share this milestone with you guys. I've learned a lot on DP forums.

Congrats, man. $30k a month is nothing to sneeze at, I don't care who you are. Good to see you're living the dream. IM has enabled me to live without a 9 to 5 too, but I'm not quite where you are as I only started in June of this year. I'll get there, though.

Oh yeah, and be prepared for a million replies and IMs asking to see your URL(s). Haha.

 

How many sites do you run that bring in significant revenue if you mind me asking?

Also how do you drive so much traffic to your site without any adversitment?

Ie. How man sites are you running or any insight into ad colors or placement?

I'm just starting monetise all of my sites at the moment.. Content creation is a must. It's a full time job in itself.

I'm currently running 3 personal sites, at this stage i'm just aiming to break the $100 usd per month barrier.

Start small and work my way up.
