Source: http://blogs.msdn.com/adcenter/archive/2006/10/18/calling-all-us-content-advertisers.aspx I just read at MSN's adCenter Blog that they are opening up their ContentAds invitation process. If you would like to join the pilot program you can sign up here (you will be put on a list). Personally, I think this is great news. I do not like the fact that Google is the only 'good' contextual ad network and hopefully MSN rolling out ContentAds will make YPN improve their ad-targetting and open up to other countries. On a side note, the ads look exactly the same as most contextual ad networks', as could be expected. http://blogs.msdn.com/adcenter/archive/2006/10/18/calling-all-us-content-advertisers.aspx
Good information. I have signed up. We will see how it goes, but I do agree the more competition the better. And I would love to see some of my smaller niches better filled out than what Yahoo! has been able to do.
I believe Content Ads is for publishers like adsense or YPN. M$ always confused me with their terminology and even their blog post doesn't mention of any. Thanks
I received an invitation last Friday. I don't think I am going to try it though. I'm not really into content stuff.
I got the blank page after the sign up is it normal? oh yeah, I forgot to ask... is it samething as Adsense/YPN, but it's from MSN?
I hope eventually they will be available to non-us countries. We really need some alternative to adsense
Oh no, not again! THi is going to turn into another YPN with everyone asking daily when it willbe released to international publishers. They haven't even released it to the US yet.
Their ContentAds program is NOT for publishers. This is for advertisers wanting to advertise on adCenter's content network, which right now consists of only being shown on other areas of the MSN portal. Publishers will still have to wait...
