Hi If I add a backlink on some site but that link is title to “nofollow†then I will that link be helpful & beneficial for my site? For example I have made backlinks about 100+ but all are nofollow then are they beneficial for my site? Regards
No-follow links will not pass link juice to your site. No-follow links can still brings traffic to your website but will not give SEO benefit. When you are doing link building it is not natural to get do-follow links. Having few no-follow links will become handy to prove search engines that your are getting natural links.
@LinkGenie: You have no clue what you are talking about. No Follow links still do GIVE YOU SEO BENEFITS. They count as a backlink, and help you increase rankings in search engine. Just no "link juice" to increase pagerank.
No it won't count towards your pagrank, but a backlink is a backlink no matter what. In my eyes they are both beneficial
Always try to get links without no follow attribute. No follow might be able to give you some traffic as in case of yahoo answers but don't give link juice.
