I got my instant CC on 5th Feb ,but yet to get the PIN. Can i proceed for verification? One more thing is how to get the code from the statement, can it be obtained from Internet banking or i will have to wait for monthly statement? Should i attach the CC to internet banking? Your help is needed
well i didnt know that the card needs 7 days to get activated... The first time i entered all the details and it said "We were unable to verify this credit card". The second time i tried to add it again and i got the message "card number is already registered with PayPal". I called up ICICI bank and got to know that it will take 7 days for activation. I removed the card from pp account. Can i use the same credit card once my card gets activated?

Well i obtained my CC on 5th Feb...and till today...Infact this morning i called them up again and i was told my CC will be activated on Monday. ie 14th feb. Next thing is that the Debit card they had given...i yet to use once and its been like 13-14 days since my account opening and when i wanted to do phone banking...the Customer care told me that my card has been blocked permanently...and asked me to make a request after 8am for a new card...i dont understand..how a debit card gets blocked like that without a single push into the machine
Any updates? ICICI Bank offers VCC to those who hold ICICI credit cards. You can try using that if you have a net banking account.

Why do you feel so? Nowadays many banks have staff who keep track of internet forums and blogs. I have a finance-related forum. Every time someone posts on my forum about Kotak Bank, someone from Kotak comes and tries to resolve the problem.
I have never seen such kind of support and hence I feel fishy about it. Can you give me the link for the Kotak related stuff ? This is amazing. Fishy, because banks just cannot start support channels on their own. To see a big bank support as a unverified member makes me feel so. Also, communication channels for support need to have regulatory clearance. Looks doubtful at the moment. But this one could be true, could be not - can't comment for sure. Also, this 'support' hasn't visited the forum in 3 months. Overall looks fishy. Support just can't work on their on own whims and wishes. They must follow certain stipulations and regulations.
Call up customer care early in the morning..u will get quick response....dont call during day time..waiting time is high and boring
I have added the ICICI Instant CC to my PayPal account & they permanently limited my account without any damn reason. I am verified with 2 Credit cards & my bank account & i have not yet made any transactions & all they had to say, we dont want you as a customer.Find another payment partner.WTF ????
