its totally false yeah its true that some lonely people use it for time pass but its nt for that facebook is for social communication....
I don't think that's true as it is a social network where you first connect with friends, former classmates, missing acquaintances, etc. A lonely person would have to make friends with total strangers and people are a bit wary about meeting strangers, especially in a network site like Facebook. A lonely person would have better chances in a dating site.
