My friend had an experience like that. Then, using local antivirus to remove it. The way it works, the virus did not come back.
However, the virus may exist on your computer. Although the virus was deleted, it will come back again because there is still a virus on your computer. Try to scan your entire computer and other devices.

may be the virus is not come from your PC.. but they come from some application on your PC..
If you want to protect your file, you can burn your file to iso file.. and when you want to use that file you can use daimont tool or alcohol for opened your iso file

You should download the Virus Remove Kit from Kaspersky Lab, it's free and very strong. Use it to scan all of your computer (also the usb drive).

i prefer using avast.because when i insert my pen-drives, it automatically checks for virus.what i think is the virus is already there in your system.form where is getting replicated(this is how some worms work) as worms has the ability to self replicate and spread to other devices(and eventually to other computers too). you should scan your whole computer with an updated antivirus and i think this will solve your problem.thank you
