I am working on an online games site and I have a question approximately how many days it will take to get more traffic and high page rank if I am doing 2 articles/week submission to 10 or 20 article directory,20 backlinks/day and some directory submissions and some advertising also? and is there is any tips that you can give to increase traffic and pr.
It takes time to get rankings months years if keywords are competitive As for PR that it's updated 6-8 months if ever it will be updated as i'm expecting google to renounce officialy at it soon ... don'ty struggle with PR PR and Rankings are 2 diffrent things

Is all I am doing is good? or do you have any suggestions?
I would focus on quality Backlinks, not on quantity. Don´t be obsessed by the Page Rank, as it has become less important. They are many online gaming sites, so you will have to compete with them. I would check the backlink structure of 3 of your main competitors (yahoo site explorer, linkdiagnosis) and try to get some of these good matching Backlinks for your page. If you want to invert some money in your link building campaign, you could boost your site with some paid links from professional backlink marketplaces, like teliad or tla.
Don't submit a single article to 10 or 20 different article directories, keep it simple and just submit to top article directories like eZine, articlebase etc. 20 backlinks p/day would be great if you do it on high pr sites. to increase traffic make sure that your site's onpage optimization is up to the mark. take care of the meta tags, titles and keywords etc. search engine traffic is one of the best sources and for that you just can't ignore the onpage factors
I think google totally ignored the page rank already .. and never going to update the page rank in future so forget about this..
That was quite a long time ago since the last PR update. Any your 2 article/week approach should be right. If have more time, can even increase the frequency
The time it'd take to rank for the keyword would depend on how competitive it is. As for pr, If I remember right , the last pr update was on 19th Jan '2011 . So , it shouldn't be too long now. But if you have just started building the links , then you may have to wait till the next ( not the one that is expected soon ) one to see changes in the pr. But then again, if you have enough links from authority sites of your niche, then pr will eventually take care of itself.
Yes quality backlinks will be more important than page rank. You can be ranked very high with 0 page rank, and quality backlinks.
