When was the last time netsafe worked for you?

I think their license with visa expires

 

Really? Can something like that happen? I mean HDFC Bank is pretty big and would it let such an important license with Visa expire just like that? If they wanted to discontinue with the VCC service, they would have just led us to a message before trying to log in that they had discontinued the service instead of letting us create VCCs that dont work. Any luck Pankaj and the others? Guess, we better get a Mastercard now!

no luck at all ... still waiting ..to day i am going to open an account in Kotak bank.

 

Same here. Leaving now for Kotak to open an account. But I dont know if they give the internet pin immediately or after 4-5 days. We will still have to wait for some days before getting back in business. Pankaj, do you know if Kotak gives the internet pin immediately?

 

HDFC Debit Card VCC is not working for me as well it's second VCC since 13th may. I have posted details on this forum in another thread:

Just came back from opening an account with Kotak. They said that the kit will be delivered in 7 working days. So that means by the time I am able to use it, it will be Friday next week. HDFC has become such a pain and I cant understand how they can take so much time to fix such a issue. They are losing credibility with such an attitude and response.

 

Only VISA verified vcc's are having problems.
According to me the new series of card numbers are still to be approved by VISA or something like that but until than there is no way out.Wait is the only KEY

 

Has anyone tried the option of purchasing VCCs. I know there are lots of fraud VCC suppliers out there and its also expensive. But I came across a site that is cheap and looks genuine

You can purchase VCCs through your HDFC debit card directly also. Anyone got any replies from HDFC customer care or did you create any VCC that worked?

 

i contacted them today and they said "you can apply for a mastercard debit card and you will get it in 7 days" ....

 

Pankaj, you mean you spoke to HDFC and they said they can can give you a Mastercard debit card instead of the Visa one you are presently having? Is there a charge for that? What is the process? Should we go to the bank or call up some number or apply online?
I also checked on the HDFC bank website and it says HDFC Titanium Mastercard is for only those who hold salary accounts. I mean whats the point if we apply for a change of card and find out that its been rejected by the bank because we dont have a salary account?

 

Then use a general debit card like International Gold Debit Card. Its working well.

Well I used yesterday and my mastercard working perfect yesterday! I guess it's issue with Vissa card users!
