    3. i have advertise my site in over 20 forums.
    4. Im reading tutorials at how to get traffic everyday.
    5. Ive invited all my msn buddies ,spamming msn everyday.
    6. Ive made one affiliate with someone and now im going to a second affiliate image.

I think the domain is all wrong. It screams "NOT A FORUM!" with the .info and advertise4you name.

You need a rebranding to make it work

First you need to change the name (domain) of your forum. The next thing is to ask you friends to sign-up and make a few posts. You can also join various post exchanges to get more members and posts. You should also think about hiring a few quality posters to add some good content.

You can get a free top level domain from dot.tk

Increasing your page rank contains many different things. All I can say is PR4+ Backlinks.

I am getting a server not found when trying to view your domain of www.advertise4you.info

What is your forum offering than other forums don't already offer? That's the real question.

I would suggest making sure all the posts in your forum are center justified like you did in the first post of this thread. I think that is very appealing and should get users to want to use your site because it's hard to find other forums that offer that layout.

Somebody help.... I cannot stop laughing....

    @TheUninvited,
Let me invite you to this forum, first of all...
Secondly, get some forum posters from here, and get them to be active on your forum...
Get backlinks and get indexed too....

When people see an active forum, they tend to register and be a part....

If this works, let me know... I'm another guy looking to get his forum going..

Just continue to advertise your forum in your signature on other forums, continue to submit to directories and try to build backlinks and these should hopefully add some traffic to your site.

This is something I've pointed out to people on various other small boards, and it's a real problem for most folks like ourselves. Indeed, message boards are self-sustaining. People go to message boards for discussion, and if there isn't much discussing then they lose interest and eventually just stop going altogether. Communities with just a few dozen people have difficulty sustaining the kind of activity required to keep people interested, unless perhaps several of those members are close personal friends of yours interested in keeping your forum alive.

If we can get several hundred members and get lots of posts being made regularly, our boards should reach critical mass, so to speak, and be self-sustaining, but the problem is getting there, and most boards seem to struggle with that. A friend even went as far as holding contests and offering concert tickets as prizes to draw in members and forum activity to his board, and that worked fine as long as he continued offering prizes, but as soon as the contests stop the members drifted away. From there a staff member went and started his own board and it also attracted a couple dozen or so members but again suffered the same dying off.

Good luck with promotion of your forums. I hope you can find something that works for you.

Well here is what I think you are doing WRONG:
    1. forum names sounds like a "craiglist" for ads
    2. the .info domain doesn't sound good for forums and WHO CARES ABOUT OTHER SUCCESSFUL FORUMS!
    3. your goals are WAY WAY WAY TOO BIG FOR A SMALL FORUM
    4. you don't post your links as codes :p
    5. you need good grammar and punctuation
    6. don't SPAM OTHER PEOPLE!
    7. you need backlinks
    8. promote your forum every where you can like in forum signatures and such

If you correct these mistakes, then your forum might be better. :D
