I have seen many successful PPL (pay per lead) websites. This method revolves around making a website that usually has free offers. You find the offers through various PPL websites. An example of such would be making a website called "freelaptopgiveaways.com" and you put up forms for people to give information such as their email address to register to win different types of free laptops. I have seen earnings from these types of websites that are pretty high (better than adsense alone or CPA offers based on selling products).

As for putting single PPL forms on a non-giveaways style website, I wouldn't imagine it would be very profitable.

 

I've had success with leads, but sales generate much bigger commissions. If you can find good offers in a popular niche (health and photography come to mind), and set up a good site with affiliate links that will get traffic, you can make quite a lot with CJ.
