I guess I am not understanding the rules for posting in the Buy, Sell or Trade forum.

First of all I just received 5 infractions for duplicated posts BUT looking over the messages, I received 4 infractions that gives the same original thread URL, so I don't even understand that. How in the world can I get another infraction for the same thread? Doesn't make any sense.

Anyway, I think where I may be confused is the time between posting a new thread for the same service. I think this is where I am doing something wrong.... How often can I post the same service? Is there a time limit between posting the same service... or is it just the one thread (and can't post another the same) and it gets buried over time?

You can post a thread for the same service only once.

Duplicate threads are not allowed at all. Meaning for all DP staff care, your thread can be 4 years old... You're not allowed to make a new one regardless.

Hence the bump feature, which makes your "4 year old thread" appear at the top of the forum and editable for up to 8 hours. Magic isn't it?

The bump feature is great but it lack two critical options - the ability to mark as unsold (reverse mark as sold) and the ability to modify the title .

If you've marked it as sold then there shouldn't be any reason to re-do your action, unless of course your trying to scam someone, as for the title, well you should have thought about that before posting the thread.

Exactly - the buyer backs out , you think you'll never sell that same thing again , you wanted to retire but now you're back and so on . As for the title although it could be an abused feature so long as there is the option to see the old title there should be no problem .

This two options would complete the relist feature that Shawn talked about a few months ago .

If the buyer backs out then you need to report them and a mod will most likely mark it for you.

Your duplicate threads will have been merged together and then the infractions were given.

what's the point of posting the same service thread again?
if people are interested in your service then you will get orders in the very first attempt
You can bump your old threads so that they will be visible on the page 1st again but you can bump your thread one in a month

My "awful English buddy" ? I don't have a buddy called "awful English" . Perhaps your sentence is missing a comma , buddy .

No and don't use grammar inappropriately. You don't need a space before a question mark, a comma or a full stop, moron.
