He's a businessman before to be a politician. We risk to have the same s**t.
I'd like to see Trump. The guy is not a politician, and he proved to be a sharp negotiator. He's a pure businessman. I'd like to see him running the country as a company instead of continuous BS. It can be interesting, and at least, never seen before....It can't be worse than what seen in the past...

I think that Ron Paul is a better candidate than any of the other contenders. His voting record demonstrates that he is willing to stand up for his principles even when it goes against the mainstream views of his party. He is a candidate who will fight for small government and libertarian principles at all costs.

I would not be quick to dismiss him as a "nut-job" just because he supports drug legalization. Supporting legalization is not the same thing as supporting drugs. The question is just whether the criminal justice system is the best way to handle drug addiction. Personally, I think that legalization / decriminalization is a good idea for many drugs, especially marijuana, as it can keep people out of prison and thus keep prison costs down. Prisons are very costly to the taxpayer, and they also create crime. I'm not sure if I agree with Ron Paul's view on hard drugs but I'm willing to entertain his plan and seriously consider it.

I don't think Trump is a good candidate. The man has declared bankruptcy twice; he knows how to earn money, yes, but he sure does not know how to manage money.

Ron Paul, on the other hand, has consistently voted to cut spending and has voted against actions, including the Iraq war, that have proved to be very costly. I do not agree with everything in Paul's platform, and there are a few matters that might make me hesitate before voting for him, but I think he is a very solid candidate, one whom I have a deep respect for.

The 1996 campaign by Paul to win the election.
    ..........

Reading Paul's history and or the history of libertarian philosophy is quite troubling to say the least.

Well, his voting record for the ML Holiday might settle the matter.

This guy is way old and needs to retire in Florida. I personally think any one past 60 shouldn't be leading as at that point this people have very little to lose which makes them very dangerous.

Anyone who watched the first Republican debate saw Paul really stand out on economic issues towards the second half. I liked him so much, I had to replay the first half of the debate, an older youtube video where he claims we have no evidence linking Bin Laden to 9-11 and the following video to remind myself why I would never vote for him.

OBL was always careful in his broadcasts never to take personal credit for any of the horrible crimes committed by al-Qaida extremists. If he was convicted without disclosing evidence gathered by classified means would the US reveal this in a courtroom setting?

The hypothetical question aside, not taking credit publicly for the deeds is what probably hastened the final outcome.

Are you telling me that there is some evidence? You got something that links OBL to 9/11?

Yeah Obama is young it sure worked out fantastic. Perhaps being that old means he doesn't have to lie nearly as much as a younger politician.

Don't you have to be a Republican to run for the Republican nomination?
