I'm not going to go into much detail here as I am not here to advertise myself. But here is somewhat of a curve ball.

What are some of your ideas on how to drum up business for an in home digital printing business. (mainly printing tshirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, etc.)

We already have some business going and pretty decent DB of clients for how new we are. I would like to hear some ideas from people here though, I think some of you would be able to come up with some interesting ideas/campaigns.

    Thanks in advance!

    Mitch

I'd get onto your "1 day sale" type sites and offer a discounted product. Repeat every so often. While you won't be making much from those sales you are building awareness of you service/brand.

1 day sale is a one-day-only price down from the usual cost.
Its kinda special price for a short period of time and many starting businesses opt for this

Google 1 day sale nz and you'll find ours, or try grab a deal. We have a few doing it now and they advertise in the papers and on tv so business must be good. 1 day sale has 3 deals each day with rollover at noon. Apparantly they have buyers in hong kong picking up cancelled orders but the grab a deal guys have more local deals like photo printing and restaurant vouchers.

Mitch - if you can get the price down and the delivery speed up you could make a killing printing custom designs for sale at farmers markets etc. For instance I design something politically topical on Monday, email to you, you print and post to me in NZ so I can sell on Sunday.

Facebook Fanpage, discounts, promotions, deals, and network with other businesses related.. say make a design company tshirt for this business and etc. Who are your target market? If locals I think you can do tons of marketing on those classified ads.

we can complete an order very fast (within an hour) depends on the the quantity ordered but we can complete orders and have them shipped out the same day they are ordered. We offer super economical prices so that's not an issue. The only issue would be shipping costs, we have no control over those. For domestic shipping, prices are not bad, but international shipping can get pricy.
