All of a sudden I am now noticing that the Adsense ads on all of my sites are showing the url to the right of the title instead of at the bottom like before. Does anyone know why that has happened? Did Google change something or did I change something that I am not aware of? My Adsense block is 336x280 rectangle. The way the ads appear now is with only three lines instead of four; on the first line is the title and next to it on the right is the url. Then there are two lines of ad text. The url had always appeared on the fourth line, but now it appears on the first line next to the title of the ad. Does anyone have an idea why this happens? I never saw that before in my ads. I looked elsewhere online and haven't encountered the same thing elsewhere, which makes me think my settings are different. But the fact is that the display has changed on several sites without my doing anything at all! Before these sites all had the normal display with the url at the bottom, on the fourth line, and now they all show the url in the first line next to the title. I didn't change any settings at all. I don't know what happened. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Robert
Where have you been? Adsense made a change in 2010. Here the official news from there blog. Source: http://adsense.blogspot.com/2010/08/new-look-for-adsense-for-content-ad.html
I guess I must have been living in a cave during the past year ! Actually the reason that I only noticed it now, I realize, is because I was using different ad formats that did not show the change. At any rate, thanks for letting me know.
