Also have updated the affiliate page with a squeeze page that you can use - so you can make easy sales building a list!

How does the upsale work? Is it something we only get credit for if they buy it with the initial sale? or do you do follow up emails and we still get credit later if its our customer?

The upsell you will get 75% - it will work in exactly the same way as you get the initial sale.

The beauty of it is that once they have purchased Rift Supremacy - they will no longer be looking for reviews or advice on the guide as they will have already bought.

So your cookie will stay intact and you get 75% of everything on the backend

There will be follow up emails as well but your cookie will NOT be overwritten there will be no affiliate emails.

If YOU get more sales like this you are going to work harder promoting it right?

Yes the majority of the sales are coming in from PPC (Adwords) but also quite a lot from youtube videos and blogs, article marketing.

they are all working really well!

What is working really well is to download the Youtube videos from the main channel:

You can use http://keepvid.com/ to do this and then make sure you upload to your own Youtube account and put your affiliate link in there.

Make sure you spend some time to make your titles different and write a longish description.

Got more affiliate tools on the way and something really big coming...

We are currently in talks with someone that helped develop the game so this is going to be big and will increase conversions no end!!!

Hey Chris, it would be very helpful if you add "Click Here ...." Prints on your banners!! It increases CTR to the great extent! Looking forward for that!

Sure, can get some more banners made up however they seem to be working well looking at the stats.

People are using them mainly with SEO authority sites and web 2.0 so they have text in there with all the "Click here" links but I can get some more done sure.

Also if you have read through my $100 a day guide and are following through make sure that you make each of your videos unique on Youtube.

The method is working VERY well but you need to make sure that the videos are unique - you can do this through Animoto.com or by editing the videos yourself through Windows Media player.

I recommend that you use Animoto and get some pictures together of Rift and then do it that way.

Also you can use tubemogul.com to get more coverage for your videos.

The SEO part of the guide is working really well and there are a ton of affiliates (new ones) getting sales from the product name so it is well worth giving that a go as well because it is easy to rank for!

what happened to your youtube account?

 

Hey Nerv,

It fell foul of the duplicate content penalty - affiliates were using my videos to promote on their channels which is cool but because Youtube can't tell who the original is it just deletes.

I can get my channel back but that would mean they would delete all affiliates using the same videos so would rather keep them there.

Hope that makes sense?

Don't need it for the site and using other video sites for promotions - still actually using Youtube you just have to be careful you do not post duplicate content.
