it depends on your job , i don't work on saturdays and sundays but some jobs need to work on weekends. most of people are working full time from monday till sunday without no rest whether offline business or online business.
i tend not to work on weekends because i want to take a break from the online world. it also helps my productivity because I kind of miss being online when I am away from the keyboard. hehe.
Working on Saturday's and Sunday's, yeah you can say so. Analyzing my all weeks work and implementing more good ideas to improve my daily work, which obviously helps me in my productivity. Yes I'm working on Saturday's and Sunday's, but not always.
I have definately put in my share of lost weekends over the years. But I try my best to give them to my family and kids now. What fun is it if you can't enjoy a day or two?
I work around 15 hours a day Monday-Thursday, split between two jobs, both online and in the real world. Weekends can vary, socialising comes before work but if I have a quiet weekend planned then I can often do 16 hour days Saturday and Sunday.
I work 12-14h/day if needed, I'm doing the best I can so someday I will "afford" to work maximum 8h/day and be free on week-ends.
I am also a freelancer, i write articles i work for fixed hours daily, and try to avoid working on Sundays. Whenever the condition is such that i need to go out for some purpose then i work for extra hours to recover that.
Business doesn't wait, you can't take a serious advantage on your competitors that way. If a customer waits 2 days without an answer, he will be more than happy to find you and your 7/7 disponibility.
Yes, I work every single day... but I am able to take more hours to rest and do other things every single day as well, so it's more of an advantage. Indeed, if a buyer contacts me, I'll reply even at 2am if I'm awake
